Privacy Policy

Your data stays on your phone.

Last updated August 11, 2026

The short version: Quitly doesn't collect, store, or transmit any of your personal information. There's no account, no server, and no network connection of any kind. Everything you enter — habits, check-ins, rewards — lives only on your device, in Apple's on-device SwiftData store, until you delete the app or the data yourself.

What we collect

Nothing. Quitly has no backend, no analytics SDK, and no third-party tracking of any kind. We never see your habit names, check-in history, points, or rewards — that data never leaves your device.

How your data is stored

Everything you create in Quitly — habits, check-in schedules, responses, and rewards — is saved locally using Apple's SwiftData framework, in a database that lives entirely within the app's private storage on your device. It's included in your device's standard iOS backups (iCloud or local, depending on your settings) the same way any other app's local data is, but it is never sent to us or any other party.

Notifications

Check-in reminders are scheduled and delivered entirely on-device using Apple's local notification system. Quitly does not use push notifications, and no notification content or delivery data is sent to any server.

Children's privacy

Quitly does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of Quitly adds an optional feature that involves data leaving your device — this page will be updated first, and the change will be reflected in the app's release notes.
